| After breakfast, enjoy a morning tour that takes you through the residential section of Panama city; see the golden altar in the church of San Jose in the colonial section. Continue to the former American Canal Zone to the Miraflores Locks, where the sight of huge ships being raised or lowered as they cross between the Pacific Ocean and Miraflores Lake is memorable. Continue to the ruins of Old Panama and visit the
Amador Causeway, offering spectacular view of the city's skyline. Remainder of the day at leisure.

where you'll see rare species of flora and fauna. Remainder of the day at leisure to enjoy the facilities at

| Early morning excursion to Lake Gatun, accompanied by a naturalist-guide. This area is considered one of the best wildlife viewing areas in the Western Hemisphere. The boat will slowly cruise through the back
channels, around small islands and into remote bays-see the unusual colorful and dramatic flora.
