Gurion Airport. Ascent to Jerusalem. Enter the Old City of
Jerusalem to visit the Kotel, tour the Jewish Quarter,
accompanied by some text study with Rabbi Elisha Wolfin.
Welcome brunch for CAI Adult Mission at Masorti congregation
Moreshet Avraham; text study with Rabbi Wolfin
Mission orientation by Rabbis Silverstein, Wolfin, and Barry
Schlessinger. Hotel check-in to rest, freshen up
Late afternoon Introduction to Masorti Israel by Yizhar
Hess and Rabbi Tamar Applebaum - Dinner Symposium with
National Masorti Rabbis/Personnel: Rabbis Barry
Schlessinger, Andy Sacks, and Reuven Hammer (giyyur) along
with Jonathan Elazar (Sephardic kehillot), National Director
of NOAM-Ramah/NOAM and MAROM, Rabbi Roberto Arbib
(Tel Aviv initiatives)

Focus on "Jewish Art and Spirituality" at artist David Moss's
studio. "Shadow" Rabbi Chaya Becker at one of the TALI
kindergartens, and/or other projects in which she is involved
Lunch meeting with Rabbi Becker, key French Hill leaders,
and MAROM and Hebrew University students with whom
Rabbi Becker does outreach. Experience the biblical landscapes
park at Neot Kedumim. Meet with Dr. Alon Tal in
Modi'in about Israeli environmental issues. Dinner in Modi'in
with Rabbi Arberman, key lay leaders, and NOAM

study with Rabbi Wolfin. Buffet breakfast at the hotel
Morning excursion to Ashkelon to see Masorti life in the line
of rocket fire. Take part in a symposium with Rabbis
Gustafo and Gil Nativ and representatives from the
Beersheva kehilla and MAROM Sderot
Lunch in Ashkelon - Travel north to spend the afternoon
involved in activities with the Raanana and Kfar Saba
kehillot; focus on olim from Latin America and Metrowest
pluralism projects. Dinner with representatives of youth and
young adults from the kehillot
Overnight: Beit Maimon Hotel, Zichron Yaakov

Option A: Trip to Tzefat with Rabbi Wolfin
